GroupsAway, purge AutoCAD Drawing from Unwanted Groups

These groups may add many megabytes to an otherwise small drawing, bloating it to unmanageable size. When this happens, the GROUP command cannot be used anymore as it freezes the drawing. We've seen <strong>drawings that were bloated to 70MB</strong> with only 10MB of "real" contents.</p> <p><strong><font color="#FF0000">To check, if GROUPs are the bloating agent in your drawing, use the  AutoCAD Group command. If it freezes the session, it means you have tons of GROUP objects in your drawing</font></strong>.</p> <p>Read the instructions below and <a href="gaway.zip">download</a> the shareware version now.</p> <p>Unzip GroupsAway.ARX from the file GAWAY.ZIP to your AutoCAD support directory, then use AutoCAD ARX command to load GroupsAway.arx.</p> <p>Commands available in the shareware version are: <ul> <li>GDEL - deletes all groups in current drawing.</li> <li>GDEL - deletes anonymous groups in the current drawing.</li> </ul> <p>GroupsAway.ARX is a shareware.
